There are many attractions and activites for our guests to enjoy. If you want to just relax on your own veranda and view the scenery whilst sipping on a glass of wine enjoying the peace and tranquility. Then this is for you.

Only a short drive away visit all the attractions the region has to offer.

Across Bass Coast, Phillip Island and South Gippsland you can discover welcoming cellar doors on the South Gippsland

Wine Trail. The region is developing a strong reputation for the production of high quality, cool climate wines with many wineries boasting a collection of awards. Farmers markets are held regularly across the region, offering fine local fresh produce direct from the source. There are plenty of markets on the calendar throughout the year where you can pick up a bargain, enjoy a coffee and soak up the cheery country vibes.

San Remo

A scenic village home to one of Victoria’s significant ocean and bay fishing ports. Sit by the jetty and watch the local fishing fleet return from their journeys to sea. Each day at 12 noon

witness the feeding of the local pelican population by the Fisherman’s Co Operative. The village boasts a range of homewares, clothing and jewellery stores, cafes and restaurants. Local hotels feature welcoming bistros and host evening musical entertainment.

Bass

A small pretty town nestled on the Bass River. It was the third settlement in Victoria. A memorial in the George Bass Park commemorates the visit by George Bass who landed on January 4, 1789 searching for fresh water after their voyage in an open whale boat they rowed from Sydney.

Coronet  Bay & Corinella

The sandy beaches at Coronet Bay and Corinella are ideal for fishing, swimming or fossicking. Corinella has an all tide ramp for launching fishing boats and is the pickup point for the barge to French Island.

Kongwak & Woolomai

Both set in the rolling green hills, these beautiful hinterland towns offer different experiences. Kongwak comes alive every Sunday with the Kongwak market featuring live music, collectables, vintage clothes and second hand treasures. Woolamai plays host to the Spring/Summer Picnic Races at the beautiful Woolamai Race Track, a great day out.

Kilcunda

Kilcunda is the start (or finish) of two great walks – the spectacular George Bass Coastal Walk across the cliff tops towards San Remo and the 16km Bass Coast Rail Trail to Wonthaggi past Kilcunda’s famous railway trestle bridge.
